The first time I went to J.R.'s School of Southern Barbeque I had a great time, ate very well and learned a lot. The following year I took several friends and enjoyed the class again, picked up a few more pointers and watched as my friends became backyard barbequers with confidence that their food backed up to noon! This past February, I arranged for six people from my company to attend in San Diego. Again, we all had a great time, ate very well and learned a lot.
The class has become such an enjoyable, fun-filled day with laughter, good food and friendship that I intend to bring another few people next year.
My own cooking in the backyard has become something of an event that my family and friends look forward to. I guess I can say that going to the School of Southern Barbeque has enriched my life.
